Belgian League, Game 30: March 30-31, 2007 Spirou Charleroi bounced back from recent losses and keeps leading the Belgian League standings with a 21-9 record by downing Liege Basket 70-84 on the road on Friday. Greg Grays led the winners with 22 points, Tremmell Darden added 19 and Corey Brewer had 17 for Spirou. Scott Brakebill and Ryan Moss each had 15 points for Liege, that led 45-40 at halftime. Brewer and an outstanding Darden helped Spiroy to rally while back-to-back triples by Grays gave the guests a 62-67 edge. Spirou kept a safe margin since that moment and cruised to a big road win. Dexia Mons-Hainaut edged Telindus Oostende 78-81 in the biggest game this weekend. George Evans led the winners with 18 points, Jim Potter had 13 while Johnny Taylor added 12 for Mons. Eric Hicks led Oostende with 18 points, Glen McGowan added 15 and Veselin Petrovic 11. Oostende led 24-13 after 10 minutes but Evans and Potter led Mons to get a 58-61 edge after three quarters. Mons managed to leave the court taking revenge from last year's Belgian League finals. In other games, Okapi Aalstar beat Basket Gr Leuven 87-79, Euphony Bree edged Pepinster 85-83 while Atomia Brussels thrashed Sanex Antwerp G 100-65 behind 32 points from Michael Campbell.
