Lukoil Academic Sofia added another win on its way to the Bulgarian League playoffs by edging Cherno More 83-77 to improve to 25-1. The hosts ran early in the game to take a 33-17 advantage at the end of first quarter and led 48-36 at halftime. More closed the gap in the second half, but never took the lead. Riste Stefanov led Academic with 27 points, Georgi Davidov and Donta Smith had 15 apiece and Lamont Jones 11. Aleksandar Bojic led More with 20. In other games, second-place CSKA Sofia thrashed Levski 107-67 behind 17 points from Carlos Cherry and Balkan downed Spartak Pleven 91-65 as Bojan Vukadinovic scored 25 points.
