Austrian League, Phase 2, Game 14: April 22, 2007
Macabido Gunners Oberwart won the sixth and final ticket to the Austrian League playoffs on Sunday despite losing its regular-season finale 81-75 at WBC Kraftwerk Wels. The top two teams, Allianz Swans Gmunden and BSC Raiffeisen Panthers Furstenfeld, advanced directly to the semifinals, while the Kapfenberg Bulls will face the Gunners in one quarterfinal series and Wels challenges kelag Worthersee Piraten in the other. In Sunday's games, the Swans edged Arkadia Traiskirchen 72-75 on the road behind 33 points from Deteri Mayes to finish atop the table with a 31-5 record. The Bulls topped Xion Dukes Klosterneuburg 71-67 as Shawn Ray scored 24 points, while Piraten got 29 points from Samo Grum to defeat the Panthers 101-88.
