Latvian League, finals, Game 2: May 11, 2007
ASK Riga took a step closer to winning the Latvian-League title by downing Ventspils 76-71 in Game 2 of the the best-of-seven finals series on Friday. Riga now leads 2-0 and is halfway to becoming the first team other than Ventspils to become the Latvian champion this millennium. The visitors started strong by taking a 13-21 lead at the end of the first quarter, but Riga came back to tie it at halftime, 40-40. The hosts continued to roll in the third period and were ahead 62-55 entering the last 10 minutes. Riga held on from that point for a big win. Aaron Bramlett collected 14 points and 9 rebounds and Curtis Millage added 9 for the winners, while Eddie Shannon posted 17 and Justin Love 15 for Ventspils.
