Czech League Quarterfinals, Game 3: May 13-14, 2007 |
The top four teams from the Czech League regular season – CEZ Basketball Nymburk, BK Decin, BK Prostejov and A Plus ZS Brno – checked into the semifinals after going the distance in the best-of-three quarterfinals. The defending champs from Nymburk, who dominated the regular season with a 41-3 record, downed NH Ostrava 86-60 in Game 3. Coach Muli Katzurin's side was led by Radoslav Rancik's 26 points. BK Decin edged BK Kondori Lieberec 73-69 in Game 3 as Peter Mulligan posted 22 points. Meanwhile, BK Prostejov got 26 points from Cameron Crisp to beat BK Synthesia Pardubice 91-76 and A Plus ZS Brno scored a thrilling 73-71 success over Mlekarna Kunin on Monday thanks to Peter Benda's 19 points. In the best-of-five semifinals, Decin will face Prostejov, while Nymburk challenges Brno.
