Austrian League playoffs, semifinals, Game 2: May 17, 2007 |
Raiffeisen Panthers Furstenfeld and WBC Kraftwerk Wels both tied their semifinal series at 1-1 with respective wins against Oberwart Gunners and Swans Gmunden. The Panthers edged the Gunners 86-88 on the road, while Wels stunned the Swans 83-68. Furstenfeld entered in the last quarter by leading 62-67 and rejected all the attempts of the hosts to get the win. Jason Detrick led the winners with 17 points and David Jandl had 12. Armond Williams tallied 29 for the hosts. Meanwhile, Wels downed Gmunden thask to a 24-13 run in the last 10 minutes led by Armin Woschank and Pavel Stanek, who posted 16 points apiece. Blake Hamilton nailed 23 to lead the defending champions from Gmunden.
