Austrian League playoffs, Semifinals, Game 4: May 21, 2007
Defending champion Swans Gmunden became the first team to reach the Austrian League finals by beating Kraftwerk Wels 66-69 to win their semifinal series 3-1. Deteri Mayes had 24 points and Ian Boylan 17 to lead Gmunden. The visitors lead at halftime 31-40 and contained all Wels's attempts at a comeback. Meanwhile, Macabido Oberwart Gunners tied their series with Raifeisen Panthers Furstenfeld at 2-2 by scoring a slim 85-82 come-from-behind win. The Panthers led 35-41 at halftime and extended the cushion to 54-65 after 30 minutes. However, the Gunners outscored their opponents 31-17 in the fourth quarter to take the big win. Armond Williams scored 20 points and Corey Muirhead added 17 for Oberwart. Trevor Gaines had 16 points and 11 rebounds for Furstenfeld in defeat. Game 5 is set for Thursday.
