Austrian League playoffs, Semifinals, Game 5: May 24, 2007
The Gunners from Oberwart defeated Raiffeisen Furstenfeld 77-86 on the road to reach the Austrian League finals. Oberwart's victory gave it a 3-2 decision in the best-of-five semis. The winners prevailed behind 18 points from Aromnd Willimas, 17 from Hannes Ochsenhofer and 14 from Adam Boone. Thomas Schreiner had 18 for the hosts from Furstenfeld. Oberwart rolled ahead early, gaining a 9-16 cushion after 10 minutes, then made the crucial run during the second quarter to lead at halftime 19-35. The visitors never looked back in the second half controlled all the attempts of Furstenfueld to come back. Oberwart will face defending champs Swans of Gmunden in the best-of-five Austrian League finals starting on Sunday, May 27.
