CEZ Basketball Nymburk left no doubt about which team is the top candidate to win the Czech League title by thrashing BK Prostejov 97-60 in Game 1 of the best-of-five title series on Friday. Prostejov, that survived a tough series against BK Decin and did not have as much time as Nymburk to prepare the game, hosts Game 2 on Thursday. Radoslav Rancik paced the winners with 19 points on 7-of-9 two-pointers. Darius Washington added 18, Goran Savanovic had 14 while Antti Nikkila got 12 for Nymburk. Cameron Crisp had 16 points for Prostejov, Igor Koudelin added 12, Radek Necas 10 while Sylvere Bryan bearly missed a double-double with 9 points and a game-high 8 rebounds for the guests. Nymburk broke the game in the second quarter and already led 52-32 at halftime. The hosts boosted its lead to 79-41 after 30 minutes and cruised to a well-deserved win.
