A dominant Green helped Ludwigsburg to get a 24-20 edge after 10 minutes. The hosts kept looking for an unstoppable Green, who scored 24 points on 8 of 9 shots and 6 of 6 free throws to give his team a 43-36 halftime lead. Ludwigsburg stayed ahead throughout a low-scoring third quarter, as a basket by Green gave the hosts a 53-46 edge after 28 minutes. A three-pointer by Goljovic and another basket by Cukinas made it an eight-point game, 58-50, after 30 minutes. Jacobsen and Ivan Pavic got Brose Baskets within 61-59 but Green kept pacing Ludwigsburg right when it mattered. Jacobsen, however, tied it at 69-69, forcing overtime and had 7 points in the extra period, including the game-winning triple with 7 seconds remaining.
