The game was close with the hosts leading 22-20 at the end of the first quarter and the guests by 42-44 at halftime. During the third quarter Gmunden got a slim but decisive margin to stay in front 58-66 entering in the last 10 minutes, when they managed the match with good accuracy from the foul line.
