Czech League, Game 1: October 9-11, 2006 |
The Czech League started this week and BK Kondori Liberec became its first leader by thrashing Brnensky basketbalovy klub 92-64 at home on Monday. Lukas Kraus led the winners with 16 points, Jan Pastyrik added 13 and Ladislav Toth 12 in an easy win for Liberec. CEZ Basketball Nymburk lived up to the expectations by beating BK Prostejov 70-63 at home on Wednesday. Guillermo Diaz paced Nymburk with 19 points, as the hosts led 44-28 at halftime and kept a safe margin all the way. BK Usto nad Labem upset BK Sadska 94-99 on the road behind 26 points from Tim Henry and 22 from Damien Argrett. BK Decin topped Mlekarna Kunin 90-79 with Akeim Claborn leading the winners with 21 points on 8-for-9 shooting. USK Praha downed A Plus OHL ZS Brno BC 69-78 behind 18 points from Admir Alic, while NH Ostrava edged BK Synthesia Pardubice 92-99 on the road. Game 2 will be here this weekend.
