Belgian League, Game 4: October 11, 2006 Dexia Mons-Hainaut remains the only undefeated side in the Belgian League after leader Sanex Antwerp lost on the road to Okapi Aalstar 74-67 on Wednesday night. Mons, which has won all three of its games, does not play this week as its game against Euphony Bree was postponed by two weeks. Antwerp, which fell to 4-1, led by double figures in the second quarter, but allowed the hosts to close the gap to 37-41 at halftime. Aalstar tied the game in the third and thing remained tight for most of the fourth as well until the Wes Wilkinson scored 5 straight in the final minute and Trevor Huffman added a pair of free throws to seal the win. Adam Hall led Aalstar with 18 points and 9 rebounds, while Huffman finished with 15. Ed Norvell and Les Matela had 14 apiece in defeat. Meanwhile, Spirou Charleroi handed Telindus Oostende its third straight loss, 60-71. Oostende used an 11-0 second-period run to jump ahead and led 39-32 at halftime, but aggressive play from Andre Riddick helped Spirou tie it early in the third quarter. The game remained close for the rest of the period, but Charleroi scored 8 straight bridging the third and fourth quarters to take the lead for good. Ralph Biggs led all scorers with 18, Riddick had 15 and 9 rebounds, and Corey Brewer chipped in 10 for Charleroi. Denis Wucherer had 13 for Oostende, while Elvir Ovcina was good for 12 points and 19 rebounds. In other games Wednesday, Verviers-Pepinster overcame R Atomia Brussels 76-80 and Basket Gr Leuven defeated Liège Basket 79-91.
