Meanwhile, Antwerp edged Dexia Mons-Hainaut 67-69 on the road in a big showdown on Saturday. Gur Shelef led the winners with 15 points. George Evans led Mons with 16 points on 8-for-10 shooting, Monty Mack added 12 and Jim Potter 10 for the hosts.It all came down to the final period, in which Antwerp got the lead while Markovic missed a game-tying three in Mons' final possession. Mons now ties for the third place in the standings along with Telindus Oostende, which overwhelmed Verviers-Pepinster 101-69 to improve to 6-3 in the league board. Lavor Postell and Toby Bailey each had 17 points for Oostende, Rashad Wright added 15, Guy Muya 14 and Elvir Ovcina 10 for Oostende, which led 54-27 at halftime and never looked back.
