Bulgarian League, Game 9: November 18-19 |
CSKA Sofia recorded an easy 96-63 win Saturday over Rilski Sportist to remain unbeaten atop the Bulgarian League with a 9-0 record. Dimitar Naguelov posted 24 points and Brad Traina 17 to lead the home team. Dimitar Mirakovski added 13 and Jordan Bozov came off the bench for 12 as part of a well-balanced team-effort. Nikolay Gospodinov led Rilski with 17. Lukoil Academic Sofia raised its record to 8-1 by thrashing Yambol 107-70, after leading by 16 at the end of the first quarter and 60-36 at halftime. Taliek Brown led the way with 16 points, Todor Stoykov added 23, Georgi Davidov sank 11 while Riste Stefanov and Boyko Mladenov produced for 10 points apiece. Milijan Vukotic topped Yambol with 16. In other games, Cherno More IG outlasted Balkan 83-63 behind 16 points from Bogdan Boev and 13 by Leven Belberov; Levski destroyed Spartak MVR 102-58, while Spartak Pleven edged Dunav 67-69 on the road as Hrisimir Dimitrov led the way with 23 points.
