Czech League, Game 16: November 27-30, 2006 |
CEZ Basketball Numburk stays atop the Czech League standings with a 15-1 record by thrashing BK Sadska 90-58 at home. Michal Kremen paced the winners with 16 points, Walker Russell added 14, Goran Savanovic had 13 and Pavel 11 in an easy home win for Nymburk, which led 55-25 at halftime and had no problems to finish 2006 with a big home win. BK Decin stayed second with a 12-4 record by overwhelming BK Usti nad Labem 116-75 at home on Thursday. Levell Sanders paced the winners with 19 points while Lukas Houser added 18. Synthesia Pardubice did not find much trouble to down end-of-the-table BBK 108-78 on Saturday and improve to 9-7 in the standings. Rahsaan Ames led 6 Synthesia players in double digits with 22 points. A Plus OHL ZS Brno BC is now thies at 11-5 by thrashing BK Prostejov 81-62 at home on Friday. Stepan Vrubl had 19 points for Brno while Petr Benda posted a monster double-double of 16 points and 21 boards. In other games, USK Praha topped NH Ostrava 91-83 while BK Kondori Liberec defeated Mlekarna Kunín 97-82.
