Greek League, Game 12: January 6-7, 2007
Sani Becirovic - Panathinaikos Panathinaikos added another win to its best ever start with an easy home victory over Makedonikos, 101-65, in Week 12 of the Greek League. Sani Becirovic was red-hot from beyond the arc to lead the Greens, who improved to 25-1 in all competitions and remain atop the Greek-League standings with an 11-1 record. Aris Thessaloniki got a double-double from Mike Wilkinson to beat Panellinios 66-77 on the road and keep second place, while Olympiacos remains third after Andrija Zizic led the Reds to a 69-84 road win at Egaleo. PAOK continued its good run of form as Drago Pasalic shined in a 79-72 win over AEK. In other games, Maroussi downed Panionios 66-62, Olympia Larissa shocked Apollon Patras 69-72 and Olympiada Patras escaped from Larissa with a 71-73 victory over AE Larissa.

At the OAKA Olympic Hall, the site of this season's Euroleague Final Four, Sani Becirovic shot 5-for-6 from downtown on his way to 22 points and 4 assists to lead Panathinaikos over Makedonikos. Robertas Javtokas added 14 points and 9 boards, Dimos Dikoudis had 13 points, Milos Vujanic 11 and Dusan Sakota 10 points. Reda Rahlimi scored 16 points for the visitors, while Vaggelis Karavolas had 14 and Ozren Misic 10. Despite the absence of starting point guard Terrell Castle, Aris took advantage register its 10th victory of the season in the Greek League. Savvas Iliadis scored 14 points, while Mike Wilkinson posted a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds. Alex Scales added 11 points and Dimitris Tsaldaris had 10 points. Mihalis Pelekanos led Panellinios with 19 points and 7 rebounds.

In Egaleo, Olympiacos came up big on the defensive end in the second half to seal the victory over the hosts. Andrija Zizic led the Reds with 20 points and 8 boards, Alex Acker added 15 points, 7 boards, 3 assists and 3 steals, while Scoonie Penn and Ryan Stack bagged 14 points each. Rashad Anderson scored 17 points for Egaleo and Keidren Clark added 16 points. Drago Pasalic came up big with 21 points and 11 boards to lead PAOK to victory over AEK in Thessaloniki. Vlado Scepanovic added 18 points, Blagota Seculic had 14 and Jason Parker 13. For the visitors, Brent Scott, Jasmin Perkovic and Nikos Vetoulas scored 13 points each and Prodromos Nikolaidis added 11.
