The Guildford Heat stays atop the standings with a 13-2 record despite a 82-77 road loss against the Plymouth Raiders on Saturday. Gavin Love led the winners with 21 points while Brian Dux had 18 for the guests. The Heat bounced back with a 89-76 home win against the Worcester Wolves in which Daniel Gilbert had 27 points. The Sheffield Sharks improved to 12-5 and stayed second in the standings by downing the Raiders 80-72 on Friday behind 31 points from Jeff Bonds. In other games, the Scottish Rocks overwhelmed London United 100-64 on Thursday with 23 points from Julius Joseph. On Friday, the Newcastle Eagles defeated the Leicester Riders 101-96 in the MetroRadio Arena. Shawan Robinson led the winners with 31 points, including all in a 12-5 run which broke the game in the final period. London United recovered by beating the Milton Keynes Lions 92-86 on Saturday. Tarick Johnson led London with 25 points. Also on Saturday, the Riders topped the Rocks 73-58 while the Chester Jets defeated the Wolves 85-101 with James Hamilton pacing the winners with 23 points. On Sunday, the Rocks beat the Lions 88-90 while the Eagles thrashed the Jets 72-97.
