The three Greek Euroleague teams remained in the top three spots as the Greek League reached its halfway point over the weekend. Second place Aris beat Apollon Patras to remain one win behind the Greens, while Olympiacos edged PAOK to hold onto third. Panionios dominated Egaleo. Meanwhile, AEK beat AEL Larissa. Maroussi needed two overtimes to escape from Makedonikos with a dramatic win, as the visitors scored 18 points in the last five minutes to assure a 91-103 victory. Danya Abrams and Alexis Kiritsis led the winners with 25 and 22 points respectively, while Dwayne Jefferson led Makedonikos with 36 points and 10 rebounds and Christos Karavolas added 22.
