Belgian League, Game 22: February 3-4, 2007 Telindus Oostende showed it potential and improved to 11-10 in the Belgian League standings by downing top-ranked Spirou Charleroi 73-62 at home on Saturday. Elvir Ovcina and Rashad Wright led the winners each with 18 points while Titus Ivory had 17 on 6-of-6 shooting for Oostende. Ralph Biggs and Greg Grays each had 15 for Charleroi. Ovcina had 9 points in a 10-2 opening run for Oostende, which kept a 21-14 margin after 10 minutes. Ivory and a red hot Ovcina boosted the hosts' lead to 41-26 at halftime. Charleroi rallied after the break and got within 56-54 with 5 minutes to go but Ivory and Wright allowed Oostende to seal the win down the stretch. Dexia Mons-Hainaut dropped to 12-10 due to a 97-72 road loss against Euphony Bree. Brian Lynch led the winners with 20 points. George Evans had 25 points on 11-of-15 two-pointer for Mons, Kevin Houston added 12 and Miguel Berdiel 10 for the guests, who led 15-19 after 10 minutes. Bree dominated the game since that moment, as it got a 69-53 lead after 30 minutes and cruised to a well-deserved win. In other games, Okapi Aalstar downed Sanex Antwerp 96-89 in overtime behind 23 points each from Trevor Huffman and Wex Wilkinson while Verviers-Pepinster edged Atomia Bruseels 84-86 with 28 points from Justin Grays.
