Blake Shelton led the winners with 29 points while Jeff Bonds added 21. Brian Dux had 18 points for the Heat. The Sharks have downed the Worcester Wolves 91-70 on Friday behind 18 points from Joel Burns and 15 from Bonds, while the Heat bounced back from that loss by edging London United 82-89 on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Newcastle Eagles registered back-to-back wins this weekend and now tie for the top with the Sharks at 16-6. The Eagles beat the Chester Jets 84-77 on Friday with 23 points from player-coach Fab Flournoy, and then thrashed the Worcester Wolves 67-91 behind 21 points from Andrew Bridge. In other games, the Milton Keynes Lions edged the Scottish Rocks 79-83 on Thursday.
