Andre Riddick led the winners with 17 points, Cyril Akpomedah added 12 while Ralph Biggs and Greg Grays each had 11 for Charleroi, that led 40-35 and boosted its margin to 69-54 after 30 minutes to seal the outcome long before the final buzzer. Sanex Antwerp G stays second at 15-9 despite a 91-78 overtime road loss against Verviers-Pepinster also on Saturday. Christophe Beghin had 17 points for Pepinster while Aleksandar Zecevic added 15. Len Matela and Yves Dupont each had 16 points for Antwerp, that led 54-68 with 6 minutes to go in regulation. Pepinster used a 17-0 run to get the lead, but Matela sent the game to overtime, 73-73. Once in the extra period, Pepinster capped the game with a 16-1 run and escaped with a big win. Telindus Oostende had less troubles to thrash Okapi Aalstar 83-61 and improve to 14-11 in the standings. Rashad Wright had 20 points for the winners, Titus Ivory added 16 and Eric Hicks 15 in an easy win for Oostende, that broke the game early in the final period. Dexia Mons-Hainaut dropped to 13-12 due to a 69-72 home loss against Atomia Brussels while Euphony Bree beat Liege Basket 96-89 behind 23 points from Nate Reinking.
