    Italian League playoffs, Quarterfinals, Game 1: May 10-11, 2008

    Ksistof Lavrinovic - Montepaschi Siena Defending champion Montepaschi Siena returned to action for the first time since taking third place at the Euroleague Final Four by beating Upim Bologna 91-72 in Game 1 of the Italian League playoff quarterfinals on Saturday. Montepaschi dominated the second half 46-33 to put the game away. Ksistof Lavrinovic paced Montepaschi with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Terrell McIntyre scored 14 and dished 6 assists. Premiata Montegranaro held off Armani Jeans Milano 73-69 in Game 1 of that series as Jobey Thomas came through for Montegranaro with 22 points and Kiwane Garris added 18. on Sunday, Lottomatica Roma trounced Tisettanta Cantu 85-59 to start that series on a high note.
