Lithuanian League playoffs, semifinals, Game 1: April 21-22, 2008

Lietuvos Rytas and Zalgiris both defended their home court to take 1-0 leads in their best-of-three Lithuanian League semifinal playoffs. Six players scored in double figures as Lietuvos Rytas demolished Alytus 116-62 in Game 1. Marijonas Petravicius and Kenan Bajramovic both tallied 14 points while Chuck Eidson, Arturas Jomantas and Martynas Gecevicius all had 13 and Andrius Slezas chipped in 12 for L. Rytas. Zydrunas Urbonas hit for 19 points to lead Alytus, which was held to just 5 points in the third quarter. Defending champion Zalgiris also pulled ahead 1-0 after handling comfortably Siauliai 100-76 behind 18 points from Mamadou N'Diaye while Jonas Maciulis (14), Dainius Salenga (12), Marcus Brown (12), Marko Popovic (11) and DeJuan Collins (11) all scored in double figures as well. Siauliai wasted a 22-point showing by Donatas Zavackas, Virginijus Praskevicius had 13 points and Marius Prekevicius 10.
