Lithuanian League playoffs, semifinals, Game 2: April 29, 2008
Mindaugas Lukauskis - Lietuvos Rytas Lietuvos Rytas and Zalgiris both advanced to the final of the Lithuanian League playoffs by finishing off sweeps of their best-of-three semifinal series. Lietuvos Rytas went on the road to again manhandle Alytus 85-115 for an insurmountable 2-0 lead. Mindaugas Lukauskis led the way with 20 points and 9 rebounds while Martynas Gecevicius and Andrius Slezas both scored 16. Marijonas Petravicius added 12 points, Arturas Jomantas 11 and Michailas Anisimovas chipped in 10 for the winners. Alytus lost despite a 20-point showing by Marius Janisius. Five players scored in double figures as defending champion Zalgiris booked its spot in the finals series with a strong 83-94 victory on the road against Siauliai for the 2-0 series win. DeJuan Collins paced Zalgiris with 19 points and 6 assists and Damir Markota scored 18 points. Marcus Brown collected 14, Goran Jurak had 11 and Jonas Maciulis 10. Siauliai again failed to get to the final despite 21 points from Saulius Kuzminskas, 17 from Mantas Ruikis and 11 by Marius Prekevicius.
