Tau Ceramica had beaten Pamesa Valencia 91-73 in an early game played on April 23, while Akasvayu Girona improved to 20-13 and kept tying for sixth place by downing Grupo Capitol Valladolid 69-79 on Wednesday. Unicaja dropped to 17-16 due to a 87-83 road loss against archrivals Cajasol in Seville on Thursday. In other games, MMT Estudiantes edged ViveMenorca 80-78, iurbentia Bilbao Basket topped Alta Gestion Fuenlabrada 69-74 while Ricoh Manresa defeated Grupo Begar Leon 84-75.

Tau Ceramica had beaten Pamesa Valencia 91-73 in an early game played on April 23 to make the hosts get an easier road to the Final Four. Tiago Splitter paced the winners with 19 points. Sergi Vidal and Pete Mickeal each added 16 while Zoran Planinic and Mirza Teletovic had 11 apiece for Tau. Dejan Milojevic had 16 points for Pamesa, Fred House added 13 while Ruben Douglas got 10 for the guests, that trailed all the way since 16-17. Akasvayu Girona improved to 20-13 and kept tying for sixth place by downing Grupo Capitol Valladolid 69-79 on Wednesday. Fernando San Emeterio paced the winners with 19 points. Arriel McDonald and Erik Daniels added 14 while Victor Sada had 12 for Akasvayu, that led 61-64 with 6 minutes to go. Sada, Daniels and San Emeterio boosted the guests' lead to double digits, 65-75, and Grupo Capitol did not recover. Unicaja dropped to 17-16 due to a 87-83 road loss against archrivals Cajasol in Seville in front of 7,100 fans on Thursday morning. Aaron Miles led Cajasol with 23 points while Tyrone Ellis added 18 for the winners. Carlos Cabezas had 18 points for Unicaja, Boniface Ndong added 17 while Jiri Welsch got 14 for the guests, that led 70-76 midway through the fourth quarter. Miles, Ellis and Michalis Kakiouzis fueled a 15-2 run that allowed Cajasol to get its fourth consecutive win.
