Jan Vesely - PartizanReigning champion and the new Serbian Cup winner Partizan registered another close win by edging Vojvodina Srbijagas 73-77 in a game that was dominated by the champs' frontline as Jan Vesely, Slavko Vranes, Zarko Rakocevic and Stephane Lasme all scored in double figures. Partizan improved its league-leading record to 21-2, keeping second-place Crvena Zvezda at a three-win distance. Crvena Zvezda beat Hemofarm Stada 77-69 as Vladimir Stimac led four scorers in double digits with 17 points and 5 steals for the winners. Cibona took advantage of Hemofarm's loss by pounding Krka 98-74 to take sole possession of third place in the standings at 17-6. Another big game from Todor Gecevski wasn't enough for Zadar, as FMP topped the Croatian champs 82-78 behind a combined 39 points from Nemanja Protic and Dragan Labovic. In a Slovenian derby, Helios Domzale avenged last week's defeat in the Slovenian Cup by blasting Union Olimpija 57-79. Buducnost m:tel topped Zagreb CO 76-67 thanks to 20 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals from Vladimir Micov and 19 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals from Vladimir Dasic. Split CO won a 69-68 thriller over Bosna ASA BHT as Jamon Lucas led fours scorers in double digits with 19 points for the winners. Suad Sehovic paced Bosna with 21 points and 7 rebounds.

Partizan saw its lead shrink and almost diminish in a 22-10 fourth quarter at Vojvodina as Charron Fisher completed a three-point play to cut it to 73-75 with just over a minute to go. But the champs denied the hosts more points, and on Vojvodina's last possession Uros Tripkovic stole the ball and scored for the final result of 73-77. Teenage power forward Jan Vesely paced the winners with 18 points and 7 rebounds, center Slavko Vranes notched 12 points and pulled down 8 boards, Zarko Rakocevic had 11 points and Stephane Lasme chipped in with 10. For Vojvodina, Fisher impressed with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals. After 47-40 at halftime, Cibona broke down Krka's resistance in the second half en route to a 98-74 blowout-victory as Marin Rozic paced the winners with 22 points and Vedran Vukusic produced 16 points off the bench. Alan Anderson collected 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists, Vedran Princ netted 11 points, while Davor Kus and Brent Wright added 10 points apiece. Kus and Earl Calloway had each 5 of Cibona's 24 team-assists. Jure Balazic had 22 points for Krka.

Crvena Zvezda handled Hemofarm Stada 77-69 as Stimac scored 17 points and made 5 steals, Tadija Dragicevic notched 15 points, Marko Marinovic had 13 points and 5 assists, and Elmedin Kikanovic added 11 points for the winners. For Hemofarm, Miljan Pavkovic netted 12 points and dished 7 assists and Marton Bader came off the bench to match Pavkovic in scoring with 12 points. FMP withstood a fourth-quarter surge by Zadar to come away with an 82-78 win as Protic recorded 21 points and Labovic added 18 points to go with 8 rebounds for the winners. Gecevski led Zadar with a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds, Desmon Farmer produced 13 points, newly-acquired forward Vladimer Boisa had 12 points and Hrvoje Peric 10 points. Helios Domzale outscored Union Olimpija 23-48 in the two middle quarters en route to a 57-79 victory as Nicholas Jacobson and Vjekoslav Petrovic scored 13 points apiece for the guests. Jasmin Hukic paced Olimpija with 16 points and 9 rebounds, and Marko Maravic was the only other scorer in double digits with 11 points for the hosts.
