Hrvoje Peric - KK ZadarPartizan keeps dominating the Adriatic League regular season, as several teams look for a Final Four spot with 2 games to go in this round. Partizan is already qualified with a 22-2 record. Cibona and Crvena Zvezda tie for second place at 18-6 and need one more win to qualify. Hemofarm is fourth at 17-7 while Zadar still has options to make it at 16-8. Partizan beat Split CO 83-73 in Belgrade on Saturday. Uros Tripkovic and Novica Velickovic paced the winners each with 20 points. Velickovic added 10 rebounds for a double-double. Cibona had to battle hard to edge Bosna ASA BHT 83-86 on the road on Saturday behind 23 points from Davor Kus. Meanwhile, Zadar survived a do-or-die battle by downing Crvena Zvezda 71-61 at home on Saturday. Hrvoje Peric led the winners with 18 points. Hemofarm edged Union Olimpija 74-70 in Vrsac on Saturday with 22 points Boris Savovic. Buducnost m:tel went down to 13-11 due to a 84-74 road loss against Krka Movo Mesto on Sunday. Meanwhile, FMP dropped to 10-14 due to a 83-77 road loss against Zagreb CO. In other games, Helios Domzale defeated Vojvodina Srbijagas 100-84.

Partizan, already the Adriatic League regular season champion, improved to 22-2 by beating Split CO 83-73 in Belgrade on Saturday. Tripkovic and Velickovic paced the winners each with 20 points. Velickovic added 10 rebounds for a double-double. Petar Bozic had 14 points while Slavko Vranes added 12 for Partizan, that trailed 44-51 midway through the third quarter. Three-pointers by Aleksandar Rasic, Bozic and Velickovic allowed Partizan to regain the lead, 59-55, after 30 minutes. Tripkovic struck three times from downtown to break the game open, 75-65, as Split never recovered. Cibona had to battle hard to edge Bosna ASA BHT 83-86 on the road on Saturday. Kus led the winners with 23 points. Alan Anderson added 20 while Earl Calloway had 18 for Cibona. Ivan Ivanovic had 31 points for Bosna, that got within 79-81 already in the final minute. Free throws by Calloway and Anderson sealed the outcome down the stretch. Zadar stayed in the race to clinch a Final Four spot by downing Crvena Zvezda 71-61 at home on Saturday. Peric led the winners with 18 points while Rok Stipcevic added 16 for Zadar. Vladimir Stimac led Zvezda with 12 points. Zadar led 54-45 after three quarters while three-pointers by Juby Johnson, Stipcevic and Damir Rancic sealed the outcome, 65-51, minutes before the final buzzer.

Hemofarm Stada improved to 17-7 by edging Union Olimpija 74-70 in Vrsac on Saturday. Boris Savovic led the winners with 22 points while Stefan Markovic added 12 for Hemofarm. Vladimir Golubovic led Olimpija with 19 points. Jasmin Hukic added 12 while Mirza Begic had 11 for Olimpija, that hit 25-for-32 two-pointers. Olimpija led 38-41 at halftime but a 9-1 run that Savovic capped with free throws allowed Hemofarm to get a 61-54 margin after 30 minutes. Hemofarm managed to keep a safe edge throughout the fourth quarter, as Olimpija never got within striking distance. Buducnost m:tel went down to 13-11 due to a 84-74 road loss against Krka Movo Mesto on Sunday. Simon Petrov led the winners with 23 points while veteran shooter Davor Marcelic added 22 for Krka. Vladimir Micov had 17 points for Buducnost, Vladimir Dasic added 11 while Nemanja Gordic had 10. Buduncost led 61-63 after 30 minutes but Krka rolled in the fourth quarter to add another win. FMP dropped to 10-14 due to a 83-77 road loss against Zagreb CO. Ante Tomic led the winners with 22 points and 9 assists. Mladen Jeremic had 25 points for FMP, Dragan Labovic added 12 while Branko Lazic got 11 for the guests, that rallied from an 11-point deficit in the final 7 minutes to get within 78-75. Free throw accuracy allowed Zagreb to win the game.
