Partizan will defend its Adriatic League crown against Cibona after reigning champion downed Belgrade rival Crvena Zvezda and Cibona topped Hemofarm Stada in the Final Four Semifinals on Thursday. On Saturday, Cibona will play its first Adriatic League final since 2004, while Partizan will have a chance to win its third straight Adriatic League title. In Thursday's first game in Belgrade, Cibona jumped to a 24-11 lead after the first 10 minutes and stayed in control for the rest of the game to defeat Hemofarm Stada 77-65. Alan Anderson scored half of his game-high 24 points from the free throw line, and Earl Calloway also made half of his 18 points on free throws for Cibona. Davor Kus netted 12 points and Nikola Prkacin chipped in with 10 points. Vladan Vukosavljevic came off the bench to pace Hemofarm with 18 points, and Miljan Pavkovic and Milivoje Bozovic added 12 points each. 10.750 spectators saw two local team clash, as Partizan edged Crvena Zvezda 64-58 behind 14 points from Milenko Tepic and 13 points from Stephane Lasme. Partizan led 31-23 at halftime, but Zvezda fought back in the second half, coming as close as 48-45 on a three-pointer by Andre Owens with 6 minutes left on the clock. But Lasme came through with a dunk, Tepic added a couple of free throws and Jan Vesely slammed on a Tepic dish to make it 54-45, and in the remaining time, Zvezda couldn't cut the difference to less than 6 points. Elmedin Kikanovic led Zvezda with 15 points and Steven Markovic added 10.
