 Partizan outdueled Cibona 63-49 in the final game of the Adriatic League to win the league's trophy for the third straight year. It was as close as 52-49 with five minutes to go, but Partizan just took over on defense, not allowing a single Cibona point the rest of the way. Novica Velickovic was named Final Four MVP for the winners. He scored 14 of his team-high 17 points in the first half, helping Partizan earn a 38-27 halftime lead. Velickovic also pulled down a game-high 8 rebounds, while Stephane Lasme added 11 points and 6 rebounds. Alan Anderson fought like a lion to lead Cibona with 22 points and 5 steals, and Jared Homan added 11 points.
Jan Vesely opened the scoring with a dunk and Lasme added another Partizan slam to make it 6-0. Cibona came back and made it 10-8 on a basket by Anderson. But Velickovic led a Partizan run with a layup and a pair of free throws to expand the advantage to 17-9 after the first 10 minutes. Velickovic and Partizan continued to hit from everywhere in the second quarter, and all of a sudden the defending champs more than doubled Cibona's points: 30-12. Anderson and Homan managed to answer for Cibona, cutting the difference to 38-27 by halftime. Uros Tripkovic scored 8 points in the first five minutes of the second half, but Anderson was everywhere, and Earl Calloway began to step up for the Croatian club. Marin Rozic finished the third quarter with a Cibona three-pointer to make it 47-43. Anderson scored to make it a three-point game: 52-49 with five minutes left on the clock. But that would be Cibona's last points, as Partizan's defense took over. At the other end, Lasme and Slavko Vranes scored 3 points each in an 8-0 Partizan surge, before Velickovic finished it off with a free throw and a jumper.
