Belgian League playoffs, quarterfinals, Game 3: May 23, 2009

Aalstar bested Spotter Leuven 65-58 behind 21 points from Matt Lojeski and will next meet Dexia Mons-Hainaut. Antwerp edged Belgacom Liege 52-51 as Bryan Hopkins netted 21 to set up a date with defending champion Spirou Basket Charleroi in the semis. Aalstar's Trevor Huffman sparked his team in the third quarter as it turned a 25-28 halftime deficit into a double-digit advantage. Leuven never quit and made it exciting down the stretch, but the hosts held on. Mo Charlo added 11 points off the bench and Damian Cantrell tallied 9 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Demario Andersen led Leuven with 15. In the other game, Liege dominated early and led 25-36 at halftime, however Antwerp roared back with a 17-2 third quarter and held off the visitors in the end.
