Lithuanian League Playoffs, Semifinals, Game 1: April 20, 2009

 Zalgiris and Lietuvos Rytas cruised to victories in their opening games of the Lithuanian League semifinals on Monday. L. Rytas pounded BC Siauliai 110-86, while Zalgiris crushed Neptunas 105-67. Paulius Jankunas needed less than 22 minutes to lead Zalgiris with 22 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists, Mantas Kalnietis drilled 4 three-pointers on his was to 20 points and Tadas Klimavicius scored 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Dainius Salenga added 14 points and Darius Silinskis chipped in with 13 for the defending champs. Marijonas Petravicius notched 21 points and pulled down 9 rebounds in L. Rytas's 110-86 victory over Siauliai. Donatas Zavackas netted 20 points and Chuck Eidson collected 16 points, 9 assists and 5 rebounds, while Mindaugas Lukauskis also scored 16 points and Milko Bjelica and Arturas Jomantas contributed with 10 points apiece. For Siauliai, Stefhonas Hannah produced 21 points and Audrius Danusevicius had 13 points.
