Lithuanian League Playoffs, Semifinals, Game 2: April 29, 2009

 Zalgiris and Lietuvos Rytas are ready to battle in the Lithuanian League finals yet again, after they won their respective semifinal series 2-0 to stay perfect in the playoffs. Zalgiris defeated Neptunas 64-73, while L. Rytas topped BC Siauliai 78-85 behind a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds from Marijonas Petravicius. Martynas Gecevicius came off the bench to contribute with 16 points, Mindaugas Lukauskis scored 15 points and pulled down 9 rebounds, and Chuck Eidson collected 14 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Gintaras Kadziulis helped Siauliai stay in the game by amassing 26 points, Andrius Slezas added 13 points and Stefhonas Hannah had 12 points for the hosts. Zalgiris trailed 20-8 after the first 10 minutes, but turned the game around with an 11-28 second quarter en route to a 64-73 victory. Jonas Maciulis paved the way with 26 points and 7 rebounds for the defending champs, Tadas Klimavicius came off the bench to register a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds, Paulius Jankunas had 10 points, and Mantas Kalnietis collected 9 points, 7 assists and 7 steals. Arvydas Eitutavicius led Neptunas with 18 points and 8 rebounds.
