Finished regular season second (27-3), swept Banvit in quarterfinals (3-0) and beat Turk Telekom (3-1) in semis before losing to Fenerbahce Ulker (0-4) in finals.
Turkish Cup winner
Defeated Galatasaray 77-69 in quarterfinals, Pinar Karsiyaka 74-57 in the semis and then topped Banvit 59-73 in the final for its second straight Turkish Cup.
Euroleague Top 16
Finished fourth in regular season Group A (8-6) to advance to the Top 16. Was third in Top 16 Group F (2-4).

· Perhaps no team has been among the Euroleague elite without reaching the Final Four as much as Efes Pilsen. From 2002 through 2005, Efes came withing one victory of reaching the promised land each season, but was never able to break through. However the club's place among the best in the continent is a proven fact, since it won the Korac Cup back in 1996, the first European title ever for a Turkish team.
· Last season Efes had a number of highs and lows, winning five of six Euroleague games at one-point in the regular season, but dropping four in a row to start the Top 16 and ending the season earlier than hoped for.
