The Euroleague free agent team romped its ULEB Cup counterparts 107-76 on Sunday to finish the inaugural ULEB Summer League in fifth place. The Euroleague side wraps up its participation with a 3-1 record, while the ULEB Cup side falls to 2-2. Martin Samarco led six Euroleague scorers in double figures with 18 points and 10 rebounds as his side put together an efficient performance. The Euroleaguers shot 44% from beyond the arc and outrebounded the ULEB Cup team 63-41. Euroleague outscored ULEB Cup 28-17 in the second period to turn a slim 5-point advantage to a 52-36 hold at halftime. The lead grew to 20 in the third quarter and the Euroleague continued to pull away in the fourth to take the easy win. Jure Balazic added 16 points, Mark Zoller had 13, Quinton Day 11 and Alexandre Fomine and Todd Abernethy scored 10 apiece for the winners. LeVar Selas scored 17 and Joseph Garcia added 16 points and 12 boards to pace ULEB Cup. Eric Osmundson came up with 10 and Terry Williams dished a game-high 6 assists.
