Le Havre brings in Slaven Rimac
Slaven RimacEurocup newcomer STB Le Havre signed guard Slaven Rimac, adding some needed experience to the lineup as the team prepares for the second qualifying round of the competition. Rimac (196, 33) arrives from Zagreb CO in his native Croatia, but has plenty of experience at the game’s highest levels. He has played in the Euroleague with Cibona Zagreb and AEK Athens reached the 2005 ULEB Cup Final with Makedonikos Kozani. Rimac also has some experience in France after a stint with Racing Paris at the end of the 2006-07 season. Rimac has also played for Tofas Bursa in Turkey, DKV Joventut and Real Madrid in Spain, Armani Jeans Milano in Italy and Azovmash in Ukraine during his career. He led the 2004 Euroleague in three-point accuracy with a 52.73% success rate.
