Spartak St. Petersburg has signed promising rookie big man Goran Suton to a three-year contract. Suton (209, 24) arrives from Michigan State University, whom he helped reach the NCAA Tournament title game last season. He finished the season with a conference best 8.4 rebounds and was second on his team with 10.4 points per game. Suton played his best games when they mattered most and was named the Most Outstanding Player of NCAA Tournament Midwest Regional and to Final Four All-Tournament Team.
