Yet another Waczynski three had the hosts up 24-18 after 10 minutes. William Howard had a three-pointer of his own to start the second quarter for Limoges, but Waczynski knocked down another triple and Unicaja held the guests to just one basket in a 5-minute stretch, while Roberts had 4 points in building a 41-29 advantage, which was 41-31 at the intermission. Limoges had a good start to the second half with Miles and Howard draining three-pointers to get within 43-41. After 2 baskets and an assist at the end of the third quarter, Jonathan Rousselle nailed a three-pointer and assisted on Jerry Boutsiele's score to bring Limoges within 64-60. A Bouteille three-ball helped trim the gap to 68-65, but Roberts came up with a big three-pointer for a 75-68 lead and Limoges scored just 2 points in 2 minutes down the stretch.

Head Coaches

CASIMIRO, LUIS
Unicaja Malaga
"Limoges is a good team, they have good shooters. In the second half, Limoges was successful from the three-point line. It was difficult for us, but we played defense in the second half. The turnovers were a big problem. They were too many. "
PERONNET, FRANCOIS
Limoges CSP
"We had the same feeling for the third game in the Top 16. We have the feeling that we are close, but we are not able to make the difference. That is the truth of the Top 16 for us. Against high-level teams, we are not consistent enough in decision making, in the organization, to deserve a win. They are making an effort, they are not giving up. But it’s just not enough."

Players

WACZYNSKI, ADAM
Unicaja Malaga
"The most important thing was the win. There are only three games left. Of course, next week will be a tough game in Limoges, they are a really tough team. They came back, it wasn't easy. We just played really good, especially on defense. We just need to keep it up this way and let's see how far we can go."
