Bad luck continues to plague Galatasaray Liv Hospital Istanbul as two starters scoring in double figures - Jamont Gordon, the team's assist leader, and Erwin Dudley, the best rebounder - were added to its growing long-term injury list. Both were injured during Galatasaray's Turkish League game against Turk Telekom Ankara on Monday. Dudley is expected to miss the next three months due to a broken left foot, while Gordon will probably miss the rest of the season with an ACL injury. Gordon had averaged 11.3 points, 4 rebounds and 4.8 assists in four Euroleague games. Dudley, averaging 10.3 points and 6 rebounds, was coming off his best Euroleague performance yet, 21 points and 8 rebounds in his team's road win last week against Stelmet Zielona Gora. The injuries come on the back of two others since the season began on October 17 that are also long-term: veteran Manuchar Markoishvili is out three months with an Achilles tendon injury, while center Nate Jawai collapsed after the team's second Euroleague game, which was his best scoring night in the Euroleague. Jawai's situation is uncertain but he is not expected to play for at least three months. Galatasaray already signed Pops Mensah-Bonsu to cover Jawai's absence and saw another injured big man, foward Furkan Aldemir, return briefly after two weeks off court in Monday's game.
