As confirmed by the club on Friday, Hapoel Jerusalem and shooting guard Bracey Wright will remain together until 2017 after having signed a three-year contract extension. Wright (1.91 meters, 30 years old) arrived in Hapoel midway through last season and he played 9 Eurocup games with the team, averaging 13.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.2 steals, leading Hapoel to the quarterfinals. Wright is a veteran player who has played in many European games. He also has three Turkish Airlines Euroleague participations with Aris BSA, Joventut Badalona and Cedevita Zagreb. Now, he will lead Hapoel into the qualifying rounds in late September, first facing CEZ Basketball Nymburk in Ostend, Belgium.
