As announced by the club on Tuesday, Eurocup champs Valencia Basket Club made official the re-signing of big man Serhiy Lishchuk for one more season. Lishchuk (2.10 meters, 32 years old) played 11 Eurocup games last season, as he missed of them due to a long-term injury that only allowed him to play in the regular season and the finals. He averaged 8.0 points and 4.0 reboundshelp the team lift the Eurocup trophy for the third time. He has spent five consecutive seasons in Valencia and also won the 2010 Eurocup title with the team. Before Valencia, Lishchuk had been four seasons in Azovmash Mariupol of his native Ukraine.
