Henry Domercant Coming off arguably the best season in club history, Montepaschi Siena is still hungry for more. To that end, the club announced the signing of veteran scorer Henry Domercant on Tuesday. Domercant (192, 27) signed a one-year contract with an option for a second season. The shooting guard arrives from Dynamo Moscow, with whom he reached the ULEB Cup semifinals and was named the competition's regular season MVP. He led the ULEB Cup last season with 20.6 points per game, shooting an incredible 57.1% from downtown. Domercant also recorded 2.3 assists per game and was among the top 10 in steals with 2 per game. Domercant also boasts plenty of Euroleague experience from two seasons with Efes Pilsen and another with Olympiacos. He reached the Quarterfinal Playoffs in each of his seasons in the Euroleague, but has never been to the Final Four. Domercant enters the season ranked 26th all-time on the Euroleague charts in three-pointers made (130). Among the other highlights in his career are winning the 2005 Turkish League and the 2006 Turkish Cup and reaching the 2007 Greek League finals. Domercant played for Karsiyaka in Turkey in the 2003-04 season after a college basketball career at Eastern Illinois University, where he set school records in scoring with 27.9 points per game as a senior.
