Victor Sada goes home to Barcelona

Victor Sada returns to Barcelona Victor Sada has returned to his boyhood club, FC Barcelona, with a four-year contract, the club announced Friday. Sada (192, 24) has spent the past two seasons at Akasvayu Girona, helping the club reach the ULEB Cup Final last season. He led the team and was fourth in the ULEB Cup with 4.8 assists per game. He averaged 5.6 points and 5.4 rebounds as well in 26 minutes per game. In the Spanish League, he recorded 7.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. Among his career highlights are winning the 2000 Spanish junior championship with Barcelona, winning the Spanish League with the club in 2004, the Spanish Super Cup in 2005 and the 2007 FIBA Euro Cup title with Girona. Sada, who has limited Euroleague experience as a reserve from his earlier days with Barcelona, is expected to step in as key piece of the backcourt rotation this season.
