Panionios On Telecoms reached an agreement with power forward Miroslav Raicevic, who inked a one-year deal with his new team. Raicevic (208, 27) arrives from Red Star, where he averaged 8 points and 4 rebounds in 12 ULEB Cup games last season. He had started the 2007-08 season with Basket Napoli, averaging 5.9 points and 2.9 rebounds in 8 Italian League games before returning to Red Star. Raicevic has also played for Dynamo Moscow in Russia, Aris in Greece and Buducnost Pec in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In his six seasons with Aris, Raicevic helped the team to win the 2003 FIBA Champions Cup and the 2004 Greek Cup. He also won the Serbia and Montenegro Cup and reached the ULEB Cup quarterfinals with Red Star in 2006, as well as making it to the Euroleague Quarterfinal Playoffs with Dynamo in 2007. Raicevic is also a member of the Serbia and Montenegro national team.
