Mire Chatman - Lottomatica Roma Lottomatica Roma strengthened its backourt with the announcement Saturday that it had signed former Euroleague assist champ Mire Chatman for the remainder of the season. Chatman (187, 28) arrives from Dynamo Moscow, the team he helped win the ULEB Cup last season. Though he went to training camp with Dynamo, Chatman was not registered by his old club and did not play in the Euroleague so far this season. In 14 ULEB Cup games last season, Chatman had averaged 19 points and 2.4 assists, scoring 15 points in the final act against Aris in Charleroi. Chatman had come to Europe when he signed for Ventspils in the summer of 2002. In two seasons in Latvia, he averaged 18.2 and 16.3 points per game, showing the skills that helped him to land in Euroleague. Pau-Orthez signed him for the 2004-2005 season, the one in which he ended the regular season as Euroleague leader with 6.2 assists per game.
