Galatasaray Liv Hospital signed swingman Justin Carter on Sunday as it continues to reshape its squad ahead of the Top 16. Carter (1.93 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Turkish side Usak Sportif, for whom he averaged 13.9 points and 6.6 rebounds in the Turkish League this season. Carter was also worth 13.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1 block and was second in the FIBA EuroChallenge with 2.6 steals over five games in helping his team to the round of 16. He has played the majority of his professional career in Turkey, including the previous two and a half seasons in Usak, which he helped reach the top league in Turkey in 2013. Carter also suited up for Tire Gucu Spor Kulubu in the Turkish second division as well as for Vahostav SK Zilina in Slovakia after playing college basketball at Creighton University. He is set to make his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut with Galatasaray.
