As it prepares to compete in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague for a third consecutive season, Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade extended the contract of head coach Dejan Radonjic for two more seasons, the club announced Tuesday. Radonjic, 45, led Zvezda to some of the best results in club history last season. Zvezda reached the Top 16 for the first time in club history before going on to win its first ever domestic triple crown. The team won its first ever Adriatic League title, its first Serbian championship in 17 years, and Zvezda also won its third consecutive Serbian Cup in a brilliant 2014-15 season. Radonjic arrived to Zvezda in the spring of 2013, and has won a total of four domestic trophies and guided the club to the 2014 Eurocup semifinals. Prior to coaching Zvezda, Raodnjic spent five seasons as head of bench of Buducnost VOLI Podgorica in his native Montenegro and led that club to a pair of Eurocup quarterfinals appearances in 2012 and 2013.
