In anticipation of its return to the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, French League runner-up Strasbourg has made forward Kyle Weems its first roster addition of the off-season. Weems (1.98 meters, 25 years old) arrives from JSF Nanterre, where he averaged 12.2 points and pulled 4.7 rebounds in 29 minutes per French League game last season. In 16 games played in the FIBA Eurochallenge, his numbers rose to 15 points and 48.6% three-point shooting. He had previously played his first two seasons as a pro in Germany, for Telekom Baskets Bonn and Medi Bayreuth. Prior to that he played four seasons for Missouri State University.
