EA7 Emporio Armani Milan bolstered its backcourt by signing shooting guard Charles Jenkins on Wednesday. Jenkins (1.91 meters, 26 years old) spent the past two seasons with Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade, and helped the club reach Euroleague Top 16 and win the domestic triple crown - Serbian League, Serbian Radivoj Korac Cup and Adriatic League last season with a key role coming off the bench. He also led Zvezda to the Eurocup semifinals in the 2013-14 season. He averaged 6.6 points, 1.3 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 24 Euroleague games last season. Jenkins boosted his numbers up to 14.3 points in the Adriatic League playoffs. Milan's newly appointed head coach Jasmin Repesa, who led Cedevita Zagreb last season, had plenty of chances to see Jenkins play as Cedevita and Zvezda faced each other six times last season. Prior to coming to Crvena Zvezda, the New York-born guard played for Golden State and Philadelphia of the NBA.
