EA7 Emporio Armani Milan signed one of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague’s break-out players from last season, power forward Jamel McLean, to a two-year contract. McLean (2.03 meters, 27 years old) helped lead ALBA Berlin to within a tiebreaker of the Euroleague playoffs with 13 points and 5.6 rebounds over 21 games. His average performance index rating of 16.9 was seventh in the Euroleague. McLean also posted 13.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in the German League. He has spent the past three seasons in Germany; before his time in Berlin he played a season and a half for Telekom Baskets Bonn. McLean started his professional career in Belgium, first with Lueven Bears and later Telenet Ostend.
